Sale Days at Glarner Farms
For the winter 2009 & 2010 show season, we have Georgia show
pigs available now! Our first group of Florida show pigs will be
ready to go on Saturday, September 12th. This first group of show
pigs will be suitable for the early shows such as the South
Florida Fair in West Palm Beach, Manatee County Fair and Desoto
County Fair. These Fairs are in January. The show pigs will be
for sale every weekend. The next group of show pigs are for the
middle fairs which are in February will be ready to go on
Saturday September 26th through October. The last group of show
pigs will be for the late fairs which are in March and April and
will be ready November 1st through the end of November.
The show pigs are graded, evaluated and priced according to each
show pig’s quality. I do not hold an auction type of sale. All
show pig prices are posted on our info board. I would like for you to call to
reserve your show pig and make your date to choose your project. This
places you on our buyers list, and I will know how many show pigs will be
placed this year. This list is not to be exclusive but only to help us
here at the farm keep track of the show pigs.
